In diesem Blog möchte ich einige meiner Vorlesungsmaterialien aus einer Grundlagenvorlesung zur Toxikologie für Naturwissenschaftler*innen  veröffentlichen. Weiterhin gibt es hin und wieder Hinweise auf interessante Themen und Veröffentlichungen.

Zu meiner Person: ich bin registrierte Fachtoxikologin (DGPT und Eurotox), habe ursprünglich Lebensmittelchemie studiert, dann mit einer analytischen Arbeit zum Metabolismus von alkylierten polyzyklischen Kohlenwasserstoffen promoviert und mich anschließend mit Datenbanken zu toxikologischen in-vivo-Studien für wiederholte Verabreichung sowie Reproduktionstoxikologie und ihrer Nutzung bei der Entwicklung von alternativen Bewertungskonzepten und Strukturwirkungsbeziehungen beschäftigt. Seid einigen Jahren lese ich neben meiner freiberuflichen Tätigkeit eine Grundlagenvorlesung in Toxikologie für Naturwissenschaftler*innen.

In this blog I would like to publish some of my lecture material from a basic lecture on toxicology for natural scientists. From time to time there are also hints on interesting topics and publications.

About me: I am a registered toxicologist (DGPT and Eurotox), originally studied food chemistry, then did my PhD with an analytical thesis on the metabolism of alkylated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and subsequently dealt with databases on toxicological in vivo studies for repeated dose administration and reproductive toxicology and their use in the development of alternative assessment concepts and structure activity relationships. For some years now I have been reading a basic lecture in toxicology for natural scientists in addition to my freelance work.
